Get to Know Jaclyn Baumgarten Pioneer | Innovator | Leader

Jaclyn is a seasoned leader, change agent, founding member of new industries, and always leading the charge for scalable growth.

As the co-founder & CEO of Boatsetter, the world’s leading marketplace for on-water experiences and boat rentals, her strong leadership led to the creation of an entirely new category in the sharing economy. Credited with pioneering the first ever peer-to-peer (P2P) boat rental insurance policy through an exclusive partnership she negotiated with BoatUS/GEICO, Jackie provided all Boatsetter P2P owners with the peace-of-mind and protection needed to successfully operate their very own boat rental businesses.

Rethinking the traditional meaning of boat ownership, Jackie’s vision was to transform a valuable, under-utilised asset into a vessel that could not only generate income, but be shared with others to create easy and affordable access to the boating lifestyle. Boatsetter is enabling entrepreneurs on the water.
