Checkatrade is the UK’s leading platform for finding a trusted tradesperson. Originally founded in 1998, the company is about to enter its next phase of growth, having identified a generational opportunity to digitise the home services industry. Jambu joined Checkatrade in September 2023 to lead its transformation into an end-to-end marketplace that will make finding a reliable tradesperson easier. He brings extensive marketplace experience to the business, having previously served as Managing Partner at OMERS Ventures, leading investment into software companies, and as Head of Uber Eats in EMEA. Jambu is also currently a Non-Executive Director at JustEat Takeaway.
