Benjamin Roth is co-founder and CEO at Urban Sports Club, Europe’s leading platform for sports and wellness. With his company, Benjamin is on a mission to inspire everyone to lead an active and healthy life with the most flexible and diverse sports offer. Benjamin founded the sports tech start-up together with Moritz Kreppel in Berlin in 2012.

Prior to that, Benjamin launched his first start-up in 2009, an online portal for soccer called Pyler. He has more than 15 years of expertise in consulting and business creation. He is also involved as part of Europe Active's President's Council for Suppliers, Digital & Tech to motivate even more people to exercise regularly.

Benjamin was nominated for Founder of the Year at the German Start-up Awards 2021 and became a finalist. He is a native of Nuremberg and studied business in Bamberg, Munich and in the USA.

Benjamin is married, father of three sons and lives with his family in Berlin and Frankfurt. His favorite sports are functional training, swimming and bouldering with his kids.
